Does anyone know if going into the negative when buying from the shop is "legit"?

How about placing girders in the landscape and or on top of a worm?

I asked the same question about the shop to just about every active player in the top 25, and everyone agrees that since its in the game, it's ok to use it. Regardless of what you buy, if you choose to go into the negative and your strategy doesn't work out, (i.e. you bought 3 bananas and I take you into sudden death...you don't get the chance to use them and you drown,) it's no one's fault but your own. Also, the general concensus seems to be that it's "cheap" to do it early on but it's more legit toward the end of the game. It's a gamble every time b/c you may be 50 coins in the hole when a 10 coin item could win the game. Finally, if Team 17 never intended for it to be used, (1) Why wasn't it patched? (2) Why did they write the - into the code in the first place?

Shmian, it's not a mod.

lol no worries about the name and good to learn more about the subject. I've only been in 2 shopping games during my Worms career so had no idea that you could get credit at the bank! With great power comes great responsibility eh?

you can go into the negative anytime by rapidly tapping the 'buy' button when buying from 'the shop'

i mostly ask this because 99/100 games i don't do it and i win almost that much these days. why do scrubs think it's a good idea?
