Hello,

I got W:A recently and I have run into some problems. I used to play WWP almost decade ago and I bought this one cause I have been reading that W:A is regularly updated and that it supports higher resolutions (widescreen ones) as well that is more compatible with newer systems.

From what I could read, W:A has most features that WWP has. Tho I saw something that is lacking, but I might be wrong. If i recall correctly, when you are creating a game, you can choose 3 small modifications on the bottom of the screen (Longer ninja rope, Chosen worm, extra damage from specific weapon types, firing a weapon does not end turn, thrown weapons are being affected by the wind and so on...). Are those mods available in W:A?

Also, I don't remember the name, but there was some game mode that was allowing all weapons to be used unlimited amount of times (even Concrete Donkey, Armageddon, Nuclear test), all with double damage modifier and worms starting with 200hp. How can I set that game setting in W:A?

My apologies for the wall of text. :(

Thanks in advance.

1) Not out of the box, no. When 4.0 arrives (nobody knows how long it'll take) you'll be able to edit most/all of these, and many more, from the game itself. A few of them (like blood mode if I remember rightly, as well as some of the "increased weapon power" ones) are unlockable cheats in WA (unlocked by completing missions, getting golds in trainings or the highest rank in deathmatch - but you can edit them directly with a scheme editor or edit your team to unlock them if you don't like missions/trainings/deathmatch). You can also get third-party modifications like RubberWorm (http://worms2d.info/RubberWorm) to simulate a few of the effects.

2) That's called The Full Wormage. It's unlocked by doing ALL of the following: completing all missions (doesn't matter which medal you get), getting gold in all trainings and achieving the highest rank in Deathmatch (Elite). A feature that WA has over WWP is that once you've unlocked this scheme, you can manually edit individual superweapon ammo. As above, you can edit your team, or create a scheme directly, if you're impatient or don't like the single-player modes.

And I've seen walls of text much bigger than yours, don't worry ;)

You can do all of that stuff with ProjectX and Rubberworm. But it's not as easy as just pressing a button.

If you don't like to do all missions, trainings and such to unlock all super weapons and the full wormage like me there's also programs that let you unlock it.
