Grab ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com/). Make a disk image with the contents of the 'Steam/steamapps/common/Worms Armageddon' folder. Make sure the volume label is "WA", no quotes. Mount it using one of these (http://worms2d.info/Running_WA_without_the_CD#Mounting_the_disk_image) . This will fulfill the disk check DRM so you can run a copy patched to v3.7.0.0 normally.

I'd rather have the Steam version updated but this works well enough I suppose. It lets me replace the dodgy disc image I ended up with when trying to be smart. (I tried to replace the background music with silent 10 second long recordings in order to minimize the size of the ISO... but MagicISO for some reason made the ISO substantially bigger xD)

Also Steam version is my first legitimately owned copy of the game and it is not being maintained like my illegitimately acquired copy :/

Pretty sure I've mentioned it a couple times and nothing came of it. I do now own a paid for copy though. The problem before was I couldn't find any copies of W:A except for the Dreamcast.
