Just to let devs know, on 3.7 when you minimize the game the BG music stops playing, even if you maximize the game again.

I also cannot reproduce this. What's your operating system? Where abouts are you minimising? I assume other audio works?

Im under Windows XP....I cant reproduce it either.....its random, sometimes BG music stay ON, sometimes it turns off after maximizing again...
And, yes, this bug affects BG music only, the rest of the sounds seem unnafected (they stay ON)...

Same here (Win XP, etc.).

maybe the music just ended :D

or a turn was finished while you were minimized. i don't know other events playing with the background music

Oh, yes, I noticed that the background music does seem to continue playing in the background whilst you're minimised (not audibly) so if the track finishes, as usual you must wait for the next turn for it to come back.

That's not it. (Otherwise I'd have a fresh BG music on my next turn or on the turn after that, but when this bug happens I don't have that.) The track sometimes stops playing when restoring the game (or maybe it stops as soon as I minimize, dunno) - and that, although the track didn't finish.

I think this bug appeared in this version, 3.7.0.0.

(It is! :P - Well, at least for me, but I tend to like things easily so I'm not a reference.)

Anyway, after more testing, I noticed that the music tends to disappear (to be muted, actually) when using mIRC or Steam (but I don't really think the problem is related to these programs). I also noticed that the music can *come back* by minimizing and maximizing again.
