The Worms Armageddon v3.7.0.0 update will be released soon.

Some of the new features include an optional Direct3D rendering backend (which should improve compatibility), and a localization system (which allows users to translate game text themselves).

If you'd like to help with testing or translation, please contact me or Deadcode on IRC (http://worms2d.info/Worms_on_GameSurge).

Awesome! :D

By the way I put some translation errors and translation of the other weapons in the W:A v3.6.31.0 Released thread.

Direct3D suffers the same input lag as Project X, when enabling Vsync. However enabling the Assistive Vsync (or whatever it is called) negates the mouse lag entirely.

So if that renderer supersedes the Project X's implementation then I guess I can finally use Project X without complaining.

all such renderers are of common technology... the Microsoft one
the input lag affects only some people but it still can be fixed as you said :)

yeah so if I use Project X (After it gets compatibility update), the one I specified in W:A would take precedent?

depends on how the new Project X will handle graphics. Multiple renderers will make problems for Entuser as he would have to write a new wrapper from scratch, if not multiple wrappers. I think the Project X rendering specifications will have a higher priority

You could write a WormKit module to do that yourself ALLEN3! You would be everyone's hero.
