Hello TEAM17, and thank you for this Worms Revolution,

I've been a worms player for more than a decade, and it's the first Worms since Armaggedon that I enjoy so much.

You took risks, and I think they paid well. This could be a classic that people will play for years.

Yet, looking at the recent past of the Worms series, one could worry for the future of this episode. Worms Reloaded had any additional content. The game wasn't abandonned, updates were here and there, but there was a tremendous amount of wishes from the community that never came into life.

Reading these forums, I see quite often TEAM17 answering that our suggestions are taken into consideration, which is obviously good.

Now my question : after the 4th DLC coming with the Season Pass... can we expect more ?
I'm not talking of updates to fix bugs and such things. I'm talking additional content.

Will we see new weapons ? New themes ? Even better, new classes ? More water forms... well, more anything.

Again, this game is great. It could be exceptionnal.

I sincerely wish we'll see expansions or DLCs, and not just a new Worms in a year.

Thanks for your reading and consideration !

Hey, I don't have the game, but I would like to reply to this. There is a slight change I might buy it one day though. But I'm a picky buyer.

One thing I don't fully understand about Worms, the other one being why there' s so much complaining in reviews about lack of innovation, is why so many weapons are left out. Some of my favorietes like the Ming Vase, Mad Cows are not in the newer games.

If I owned a Worms game and for this Worms game a expansion with weapons from previous games and or new weapons would be released I would definitely buy it! Yes, I would buy it if it only had new and or classic weapons.

I dont see why there is so much DLC. Team 17 have blatantly left stuff out to offer as DLC and make more money. I can choose whether to buy it or not thats fair enough. But i know this puts people of buying games, its an arcade game! Why would someone pay 2400msp instead of 1200 for 1 of the other many many games on the marketplace. Its hard enough to get a full lobby already, with every pack released it'll get even harder.
The packs are not worth the money imo.

Hysnbrg > I'm not fond of DLCs. At all. But in that particular instance I think it has been one of the few examples of GOOD DLC strategy.

The base game does not cost the price of a full game. It's half of it. For 15$ you have an already excellent game, and for 15 more (so, the price of a normal game, and not an expensive one) you got way more.
For me the 30$ package IS the full game, but with half of it optionnal, a lot more people bought the game, I assume.

This season pack thing is really honest in my eyes.

Now, will what might follow be that fair, we'll see soon enough. If Team17 releases a big expansion for another 15$, I'll go for it - assuming it's real new stuff and not just Medieval Tales x 10).
I'm confident a 15$ expansion with 4 new themes, 2 classes, some old weapons returning, new ones, and the customisation possibilitys long asked for, would be a total blast.

The DLC doesn't effect online play. Those who do not own it can still play against those who have, so it doesn't change getting into a lobby.

@bethamari > I'm glad TEAM17 staff is reading the questions we have, so thank you for passing by. Yet the fact that you were there and did not answered the simple question about "will there be something after the 4th DLC" is quitte worrying.

Well, maybe you just do not know... can you reassure us a little ? Is there someone working on the future of Worms Revolution ?

Glad your enjoying it Tnecniv, hear what your saying. If this game had released on disc at £30-40 I probably would have still brought it. I love worms. But from personal experience I know if your a late comer to a title and there already been a lot of DLC released the overall price for the whole package can be quite off putting.

That's what I was getting at when I said with every DLC pack it'll get harder to fill up a lobby. I want more people to buy this game that aren't as big a fans as some of us

And yeah it is good team 17 reads the forums.

Yes, good that they read. Puzzling that a simple questions like this one would be ignored.

it's ridiculous how hard it is to get an online game... and then they go and make a whole bunch of accomplishments based on that...

I haven't had any trouble at all finding online games. All it takes is a friend or 2 who owns the game, or you can create a player match and someone usually joins right away. Ranked games are a little harder to find but if you sit in the lobby for a few minutes someone will join.
