This has happen on a couple of occasions in an online battle now (thankfully only to my opponent's worms).
On my go, I've attacked an enemy worm and knocked off some of its health.
Then my opponent has a go (not using the worm that I attacked) and knocks off some health of one of my worms....
...but the health of the enemy worm that I attacked on my go is also reduced (even though it was on the other side of the island and nothing touched it).
The last time is was while my opponent was using the Horn of Fodder.
