I currently have the only Worms game for Android on my tablet and was just hoping there would be an update for online multiplayer, instead of only the pass-and-play option?? just curious... and if not, will there be another Worms game available soon for Android that Does have online multiplayer matches??

I believe that Worms for Android is / was created by EA, so you'll probably have to ask them. Not 100% sure on this, but I think this is the case.

Ah poo bunk... Should've held onto that one.. Android games are on a major come up!

It does have EAs stamp on it, but so is Team 17, so I imagine the team is getting Some kick-back from it and therefore should know a little something...? But what do I know? Lol.. if I find out something from them I will share the knowledge... To be continued...

Rumours? EA tech support is one of the worst. I sincerely doubt you will get anything useful out of them and am extremely more doubtful that they will DO anything about it. EA aren't known for letting developers maintain/update there games for more then a month after the game goes on sale (I mean major updates that fix important issues, sometimes EA will let a developer release lots of patches, that solve useless stuff.).

You're probably right about EA.. but that doesn't mean there can't be another Worms game released for Android... I noticed that IOS users have access to Worms: Armageddon, and Crazy Golf... So I'm jealous of course but I'm not buying an iPad when i got a perfectly good Android tablet...

Yeah, there is the standard Worms game available on Amazon apps and Google play, with lots of comments about it not working on newer androids, I think ICS and better. I know it wont work for my Nexus 7, and it was one of the games I was really looking forward to getting for it, sadly.

This is getting to be such a big market now that I live in hope EA will cotton on and revamp/re-release/update it. I also live in hope that someone picks up on the idea and produces something similar, but at the moment there is nothing I've found that comes anywhere near the experiance.

The irony is that it *must* be easier to produce in terms of coding, being all PC-friendly and everything...?
