challenges wont load for me at all... tried across several browsers and 2 different computers.... flash player just crashes... even updated my flash player to new version, no help...

the new challenges won't work for me either. When I click on the "Challenges"-Button nothing happens at all. I tried it from different browsers and computers.

My challenges don't record any stats, but still show up but all say 0, big bug this .. tried on 10 + pcs

i can't load challenges

still wont load for me, doesnt work on multiple computers across different browsers with fully updated flash player.... flash player just crashes on the #1 or #3 challenge, i can do the #2 challenge tho...

i do get audio for a lil bit before flash player crashes, if that helps...

Nothing has changed for me. My flash player doesn't crash but when clicking on challenges nothing happens - no matter which browser and which computer I am using.

Ok, we're looking into it. Seems a bit of a bigger problem than we originally thought. If you could, please send us more details about the set-up you are using...

Explorer, something weird is going on here I just see my island on explorer.

i have 3 different computers i use regularly, my work computer is windows xp, i have mozilla and ie on it, and it doesnt work on either...

my home computer is windows 7 where i also have mozilla and ie, and neither work...

my laptop is windows 7 and same story

on the mozilla the only weird plugin is a greasemonkey script for dice stats...
on the ie, i dont have any errant add-ons...

the only thing that i do thats maybe out of the norm would be that i have many tabs open at once, im usually streaming either pandora or xm radio, and i usually have a facebook and a youtube open as well... i dont know if thats stressing out the flash player and possibly causing my problems to be unique, but i get the same results typically even when im not doing anything else....


edit: also keep every browser updated and flash player updated on all my computers

It sounds like you guys are reporting 3 different bugs between you...

1) The 'Challenges' button itself does not respond in the main User Interface (i.e. the 'target' icon) meaning you cannot access the Challenges menu at all (e.g. alx01)

2) The above works, but the game crashes on one or more of the 3 available challenges (e.g. hwhrhett)

3) The Challenges seem to work fine, but scores are not being recorded. (e.g. DJ1)

That is correct.

I was able to load challenges like 10 days ago, but records wasn't saved. It appeared my score in totals in this area to the right, where you can compare your scores with friends, but after reloading game or something, score disappears. Tried many times.

Now when I click it, it's not even loading, it's like inactive button.

Hi folks. Thanks for all the info. Here's the current status of bug-fixes for these 3 issues. We are aiming to push a new build in the next 2 days with all sorts of updates, including these fixes:


1) The 'Challenges' button itself does not respond in the main User Interface (i.e. the 'target' icon) meaning you cannot access the Challenges menu at all (e.g. alx01)

ISSUE: This appeared to be related to having less than 2 friends in the game (i.e. the Challenges leaderboard would not have had enough players to fill the 3 slots including yourself). Is this the case for you, alx01?


2) The above works, but the game crashes on one or more of the 3 available challenges (e.g. hwhrhett)

ISSUE: This was related to duplicate Worm names, and has been fixed ready for the next Live push.


3) The Challenges seem to work fine, but scores are not being recorded. (e.g. DJ1)

ISSUE: This was due to an issue with saving to the server, which was fixed and pushed Live (as a patch) on Monday 29th. Has anyone seen issues with scores not being recorded since then?

Oh ops sorry, well i just can't enter the menu i just have 1 friend so i know what the problem is now.

Hey team17 staff, i just wanna say thank you because you guys fixed all the challenges bugs ( well allmost all i think ). And you are doing a realy great job and people are realy complaining a lot without thinking of what you guys all did for them. So keep up the good work and thanks for responding on so many threads and keeping us up to date.
