Hi.
I've searched the forums but can't find a similar post for this.

I cannot get revolution to play a versus game with multiple controllers on the ps3. The game says that players must share the same controller - mine are wireless if that's of any significance. After the game boots up, as soon as you press start on one of the controllers, the game ignores any other controllers.

It's not a game breaking problem but it would be great if this could be fixed so that players could use multiple controllers in a future update.

Hey, if you have another pad attached when you press Add Player in the Versus game set-up, this will bring up a list of users on your PS3, select the one you want to use as the second player and there you go.

I'm sorry but this aspect of the game is definitely broken. Half the time the controllers change at random and the only way to guarantee you'll be using the same pad in the next game is to not touch the teams at all. Why is there no controller set up screen like all other worms games? You have to guess in this one and it can be bloody frustrating having to quit the entire game just so you can re-sign in different profiles and have them assigned to a separate controller.

On another note: why the hell can't you created more than one team? You can't create teams for separate profiles and a single profile can only have one team. What the hell Team 17 why would you remove such a feature? Half the fun of worms was creating hilariously themed teams for all your friends.

The water, new weapons and physics objects are great fun but these issues are stopping the game from being as good as it should be.

It really is odd that Team 17 have removed so many *basic* features that made the older games great. I'm forgetting all about this game to be honest, I'll wait for the next one!

But what about guests? Why they have to use the first controller?

I don`t understand this :(

I, too had a problem with this. It's weird because my girlfriend and I got it working yesterday, but then today it wouldn't work. I went to Versus > Deathmatch and then pressed X to add a player. And yes, the second controller was on before I pressed X. It gave me an option of which account to use, so I selected her's. Still, only the first-player controller (mine) worked.

I turned the PS3 off and on again so that both profiles were signed out. On the PS3's start-up screen, I signed in with my account. I started the game and went back to the Versus Death Match game. This time, my girlfriend's account wasn't already signed in. After signing it in, we got the dialog box that says "Player 2, press Start", or whatever it says. Now it works.

So it seems that if a player is already signed in, they have to sign out and back in again for it to work. Sounds like a bug, right?

Anybody knows if guest players in local multiplayer can use a second pad? (I donīt think so)

Hi.
Knarls, I've not managed to get a second pad working for a local multiplayer game at all.

bethamari, I've tried that but it has not worked.

super_frea, totally agree we should be able to create more than 1 team.

The problem I found was:
when you're signing in another account for multiple players and prompted to press a button
- if player 1 accidentaly pressed instead, player 2 would be unable to sign in again with the second controller unless you reset the game.

I find it annoying that you need to use "2 profiles" in order to use "2 controllers". Like why can't you use 2 controllers by cloning 1 profile? You are basically forced to make another profile in order to use 2 controllers, I don't like that. If you want to use 3 controllers you need to use 3 profiles.

It's also annoying that you can't have multiple "customized teams" on a single profile. I find this very limiting and annoying, and unecessary.

I'm exactly the same opinion.

This issue is a huge problem for me as the only way me and my friends like to play Worms is on local multiplayer. We like to all have our own teams (sometimes more than 1 team each), fully customized with individual team names, worm names, outfits and soundbanks.

The way things are setup on WR unfortunately makes this incredibly difficult to do as for each of you to have everything unlocked you would have to play through the campaign on each profile individually, which would take ages.

Also having to log in to each profile separately in order to be able to customize it is crazy and the inability to use more that 1 controller with clones is also very limiting.

Sorry for ranting but I feel as though this is a big problem which is stopping this game from being a great one.

I have 4 ps3 controllers. We can have 4 players on worms armageddon on 4 controllers. We do not have to pass the controller like we did on the first worms on psone. I have just purchased worms revolution. We can just about get 2 teams on 2 controllers, one on my ps3 network name and one on "user 1" on a second controller by fiddling about. We cannot get any more controllers on the game for more players. I do not understand, worms is a multiplayer game, passing joypads causes major problems, am I missing something? Why is it so hard/impossible to set up a 4 player local game on 4 controllers. Really disappointed.
