It's impossible to interrumpt a Homing Missile or Air Strike after selecting target.

The "switch to walk" button becomes unable to press.

PS: though I had luck in that game where my homing missile went thru a tight hole :) so phew, didn't fail

As soon as you've fired StepS, you should be able to move away. If this doesn't work with the mouse, try using the arrow keys. I'll let the guys know about this.
