Greetings. I am Pure Phoenix. I've been playing worms for decades and love your franchise, thank you for allowing me into the beta.

Subject:
I appear to have lost all my weapons. I also keep getting asked to have a match against the professor.

Description:
I logged in, did all the tutorials including the match against the professor, buying hats, weapons etc.

Then i checked facebook and navigated away from the Worms FB page, effectively ending/closing the Flash session.

When i re-entered worms FB i was asked if i wanted to play a match against the professor. This obviously created a tad bit of confusion, so i did ti to see if it was bugged.

Turns out i didn't have any of my weapons, i only have Skip Go. I even tried going to the shop and re-purchasing, bazooka, grenades etc and it doesn't fix it.

EDIT: Just noticed, acheivements, hats and all other progress has vanished as well.


Step-By-Step Guide:
Start game from scratch; take all the acheivements/challenges that pop up on the left. I disabled music somewhere after my first match, that might be a related interaction, i noticed i have sound back on as of now....

I noticed this bug occured after i reached the "challenge" where you need to test weapons in the shop. Prior to this i had already bought the weapons because i know homing missile, prod, baseball bat etc are very effective from previous worms games.

Possible Fixes;
Clearing all firefox cache <= had one session so far with weaponry, completed 2 challenges. Unsure if the bug will re-occur.

Exact same issue here.....lost all the weapons i bough, even the unlimited ones like bazooka and grenade, i can only use skip go, lol
But it happened randomly...i just opened the game and all my weapons, hats and achievements dissapeared...

Update: after rrefreshing several times, my stuff went back

Is there even a way to check weapon lists before joining a game?
Atm i'm fighting the professor, surrendering and then losing 4 worms.

Hey guys, sorry you've encountered this bug. It's something we're tracking and trying to get to the bottom of.

You are correct though, you can refresh the game and it should solve it and give you back your stuff.

In order to check what you have before going into battle, check the inventory (the little box icon above the challenge target on the right hand side).

Check checking on here in the news section to see when we fix it.

In case you missed the edit i made to the opening post, the issue seems to be resolved if you clear your cache.

Perhaps a md5 check on cached files would be an appropriate resolution?

Yup, you don't just have to clear your cache, it can be solved by simply refreshing the game! Cheers for the detective work Phoenix. :)
