I just installed Worms 2 to this computer, running Windows 7. It's an original version of Worms 2, none of that Trymedia or Sold-Out mumbo jumbo. I fixed the color problem with a link from another thread, but I simply can't get the CD music working. I've tried running as administrator and running in compatibility mode, and the music won't play in the frontend or ingame. Any suggestions?

Do other games with CD audio work?

After some time in IRC I learned that the problem was that whoever built my PC, it being fairly new, didn't take into account the antiquated method of reading the music straight from the CD drive by having it plugged directly into the mother board rather than reading the music as more data. My motherboard doesn't have a port for such a cord. So I bought the GoG version and will just put my CD on a shelf I suppose.
