I have the steam version of worms. Whenever I try to connect online, i get into the server area but a box pops up that says "WormNET connection terminated!".

I was able to get in once after clicking the connect button about 50 times but I'm not having any of that luck for the second time trying to play online.

What nickname have you used when trying to connect?

There is no text in the box but the one in the right is telling me about worms on steam.

I'll try that a bit later. I started using prosnooper and I can see and connect to games through that.

Ok the snooper disconnects every 20 seconds or so. I am able to get ingame but it always kicks me out due to network failure around turn 2.

I ran wireshark but I have no clue what any of it means.

It looks like a firewall on your computer or network is blocking communication on TCP port 6667 (IRC protocol). Check the settings of any antivirus/security/firewall software or network hardware, and make sure any settings related to blocking IRC or 6667 communication are disabled.

I am behind a school dorm network. I would have to contact the system administrator I guess.
