Pay what you want and get the original Worms and Alien Breed 2: Assault on Steam.

Beat the average ($5.57 right now) and get Worms Blast and Worms Crazy Golf too! Also, get the Broken Sword trilogy of adventure games. Which I've never heard of, but are apparently meant to be rather good.

Just letting you guys know!

Broken sword 1 and 2 are adventure game classics. The bundle is worth the price for those two games alone.

The third is unfortunately pretty lackluster with dodgy 3D replacing the beatiful handrawn backgrounds and characters. The fourth game (not included in the bundle) was apparently worlds better but I never played it.

The kickstarter for a fith game in the series (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/165500047/broken-sword-the-serpents-curse-adventure) is wraping up in a couple of days. The $1,000,000 stetch-goal is to greenlight a sequel to Beneath a Steel Sky(!!!).

But I already have every Team17 game. :(

Don't know what to expect from this. Never heard of indie gala (should I beaten for that? :p) so I'll have you guess what my first question is.

Furthermore, what kind of games are these, do they all require Steam or only some or none of them?

EDIT - sorry, my bad. It clearly states what games require Steam.

Indie Gala is another of those Humble Indie Bundle (http://www.humblebundle.com/) / Indie Royale (http://www.indieroyale.com/) / Be Mine (http://groupees.com/bm4) game bundle sites where you can (more or less) donate whatever you want for whatever games are up, all in the name of charity.

Which are basically brilliant and you should subscribe to all of them.

I'm addicted to those 4 indie game bundles and have bought everyone of them.

However, I too already have all T17 games, so someone could probably trade my copies for something.

I played all the Broken Sword games and I'm a kickstarter backer of the new one.

The first two are simply AMAZING!

The third one is good, even if it's a different kind of game.

BUT

The fourth is not as good as the third, or even the first two. The graphics was kinda ok, but the story (especially the end) was a quite big letdown...

Anyway, everyone should have played the BS series... oh man, I simply love George Stobbart!

I bought it. I heard that one of those 2nd week unlock titles is Worms Pinball, too, but that's just what I heard.

I've a spare Dustforce key here if you're interested, bonz. I don't have Worms Crazy Golf in my Steam library yet and they do seem about the same price; what say ye?

The bonus games unlocked today and, unsurprisingly, they're Worms Pinball and Alien Breed 3: Descent.

I will trade you all of those for all of those. :p I'd recommend Steam Trades (http://www.steamtrades.com/forum) though people usually have awful trades.

Neeeat.

So what exactly is Alien Breed? I've been hearing about it around this forum pretty much since I've been on it, but I've barely paid it any mind. It sounds fairly well-liked.

Hahaha, I am in exactly the same boat. Thanks to this Bundle I have AB:2 and AB:3 on Steam, I guess I could shell out a few quid for AB:1 and actually find out what they're like.

How do these new Steam ones compare to the original ones?

Alien Breed is a top-down shooter where you fight aliens. Basically. It was pretty neat for the time. :p You have to carry out objectives in vast maps, figuring out how to proceed and gathering pickups to help you survive that bit longer. It's pretty hard.

The originals had big varied maps but often got you lost and stuck exploring everywhere. The new ones are more linear but samey. Whichever you prefer is up to you. But hey the new ones have online co-op. Which is brutally hard. Yay.

Well, anything I can get in return is better than nothing, with the keys going unused.

Anyway, how are trades done when I have something that is not in the Steam system?
Especially since one couldn't verify if a bundle key has been redeemed until he tried himself after a trade.

Especially since one couldn't verify if a bundle key has been redeemed until he tried himself after a trade. You basically have to trust random strangers on the internet :p they have a reputation system in place. Personally I haven't been scammed yet, though I don't get a lot of demand for my keys either.

As far as I know you are not supposed to trade keys anyway, heh. Also VALVe won't undo any scam trades if they can't verify if someone's really been scammed.

The new Alien Breed games are actually better than the ones from the Amiga times, but they are not up to date, still. All you do there is go from A to B and shoot any Aliens that cross your way which gets a bit bland every now and then.

There needs to be a better "loot" and unlock system, a more intuitive way to upgrade your weapons, open world multiplayer including large maps and visually more diverse worlds/planets/spaceships, in-game trading... basically, a game like Diablo, Titan Quest or Torchlight, only with firearms and aliens. I bet that could easily become a major success; it's a popular genre too :p Seriously, the most important thing to consider is the loot system. Constantly finding and improving armoury and trading it with others, that's mostly what keeps people playing those games.

I just realized that several Humble Indie bundles had previous ones as bonus added later on.
Plus several separate games.

Thus, this is an updated list of unused Steam keys that I'd trade for things 'n' stuff:

1x Humble Bundle 2
1x Humble Bundle 3
1x World of Goo/Anomaly/Osmos/EDGE
===================================
1x The Ship
1x Osmos
1x Defense Grid + 4 Map packs
1x Steel Storm Burning Retribution:
2x Beat Hazard
1x Beat Hazard Ultra DLC
1x Plain Sight
1x The Ball
1x Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45
1x The Void
1x Airmech (Beta)
1x Trauma
1x Swords And Soldiers
1x Worms
1x Worms Blast
1x Worms Pinball
1x Alien Breed 2
1x Cortex Command
1x Gish
1x Toki Tori

Technically yes. But no one really cares that you aren't supposed to since it's kinda silly they don't give you giftable copies of games you already own (aside from a glitch in the last humble bundle giving me a giftable Torchlight by accident...which I traded since I thought they had finally started letting us gift them).
