In Worms Armageddon's mission files there's an extra training mission that can't be accessed in the game. It's a mission along the same lines as the grenade or shotgun missions, but using the bazooka instead.

If you want to try it out for yourself, here's how to do it:

Steam users:
1) Goto the DATA/Mission folder.
2) Backup the contents of this folder as you will be changing one of the files and you might want to change it back later.
3) Delete Training15.wam
4) Rename Training16.wam to Training15.wam
5) This has replaced the Advanced Weapons Training in-game. It won't look any different from the front-end, but the mission is different when you play it.

CD users:
1) Get WormKit and the wkfileoverride module.
2) Copy the Training16.wam file from the DATA/Missions folder on your CD.
3) Make a DATA/Mission folder in your WA directory and paste it into there.
4) Rename it to Training15.wam
5) This has replaced the Euthanasia training mission in-game. It won't look any different from the front-end, but the mission is different when you play it.

You do not need to alter any .img files in either version.

yep, but don't forget: replays of edited missions (edited in any means) will not be synchronized at the side of players without these mods. :p

...yes they will... WA doesn't use the WAM file when playing back replays, all the stuff that happens is recorded in the replay itself. I just tried it (after changing the training back); it plays fine.

mind posting it muzer?

I like to see what it looks like without changing my steam game.

Ahhh... that might be because the Steam version of WA is more recent than the CD version.

Can somebody with the CD version post a replay?

it's nice to see that replays can be shared :) until some Beta, they couldn't.

Nice find. But the instructions were incorrect for the CD version. Fixed here:

Edit: Hope you don't mind, Melon — I edited your post too, to avoid further confusion.

Well, I actually found that a long time ago, but I thought nobody would be interested. :)
at least more people know about it now :)

Hmm I do remember playing this mission in the 2000s... probably because my CD was all messed and missions were somehow randomized - some got wrong maps, some loaded other ones than described in the frontend and some were just unfinishable for some reason :/

Did you have the Green Pepper release by any chance? IIRC that was fixed in one of the betas, the Green Pepper releases had the wrong mission maps.

No, it was a THQ (or THC?? I'd have to look that up) release.
