Can you guys add a chat in game so we can talk to the players we fight to?

I think it'd be good to maybe have the opportunity to chat while the final scores are being displayed.. you know, just to say 'good game' or whatever..

Free-form text input can quickly get messy, and abusive. We have to be careful with this between random opponents.

But it's a nice idea to have *some* form of communications, eg. stock comments. You've got us thinking............ :)

I believe that case is rather rare, but also not to forget the "ignore" option. What are the other harms of that?

I agree about free-form, but the above idea is interesting. With a set of stock quotes/abuse/friendly jabs/congrats/etc, you can also translate them into the appropriate languages and regional context and allow everyone to pseudo-communicate. It's not necessary, but there were a few times in game I would have loved to jeer the opponent for a painful attack or laugh at myself for blowing my own worm into the water.

I never really liked the idea of not being able to speak freely to other people, but still, i know it can messy.
So here my idea, "taunts" make the worms say the pre-selected comment, and maybe a little move, smile/fists/dance etc. You could also sell special "taunts" in the store.
