I'd really like to be able to mod this as hell just like I did with W4 back in the days.

Well it IS a currently supported title, and there was a patch not so long ago.
I however must agree that Map Editor or something siimilar could be applied (but the game isn't a waste of money without it however), but it's been discussed already and we're not going to see that.

Well you have to replace already existing maps in WUM to get the custom ones.

You do realize that tweaking was never officially supported and Team17 have every right to prevent people from doing so, don't you? I'm just checking, because it looks like you think you're entitled to do something that isn't officially supported by Team17.

Just a bit baffled as to what CRC means in your post.

In computer science, CRCs are used to check that no errors occurred transmitting the data.
Cyclic redundancy check, or at least I think.

It's a check that verifies all the files are in their original state. I think it was first introduced back in Worms Reloaded because a lot of people had corrupt games without knowing which caused a lot of bug reports.

Worms: Ultimate Mayhem is still being supported, we've yet to release the DLC for PC. And it's still a current release.

Please don't backseat mod and try to state where sections should be located.
