Hello there. I'm here to get help for an aching problem I've had for a few months now. It's quite common, actually. WWP will not work whatever I try.

I've tried the latest compatability fix.

I've tried messing around with the shortcut options, ticking various boxes (640 x 400 or whatever resolution. Using the several different compatability versions such as windows 98 and windows XP) and using the /nointro solution they had for WA's troubleshoot page.

I have tried running as administrator.

Those are the solutions I remember trying the most. I have original disc, as it doesn't have the sold-out colors and text. All it has is a white and blue outline of a worm with the 'Worms World Party' text.

I have an ATI Radeon 4600 series as far as I can tell.

My processor is an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2.10 GHz

My system is also 64 bit and I have all the service packs.

Help would mean a lot to me, since I tried out the Worms Armageddon Demo and that didn't work for me either. And yes, I tried out both the official one and the TryMedia one. I even tried updating the demo to the latest version and -that- didn't work either.

So yeah, help would mean so much to me, I love playing Worms and the newer games are NOTHING compared to WWP and WA.

An updated (http://worms2d.info/Beta_updates_%28Worms_Armageddon%29) CD edition of WA should work just about flawlessly on your system. The Trymedia ones are no good, though, so you'd have to order it from Mastertronic (http://www.mastertronic.com/productSoldOut.asp?pid=267&productLabelID=1), Amazon or find something on eBay.
