I have WWP and Armageddon, older versions. IS it worth it to upgrade to something like Reloaded or wait for Revolution?

Also, what is the best one for online play?

I wouldn't really think of it as upgrading because Reloaded is quite different to WWP/WA, the basic concept is the same, of course, but the dynamics are different.

I can't really advise about whether or not to wait for Revolution because there's not a great deal of information around about it yet, other than some information about the classes and themes. However, there is a demo available for Reloaded (on Steam anyway) so if you're keen to take a look at it I recommend you grab that. :)

Worms Armageddon still gets official updates, and it's compatible with all common systems. It has tons of players online (http://snoop.worms2d.info:17030/snooper/), I suggest you to install the update :) visit the Worms Armageddon subforum.

PS: speaking of Reloaded, it misses a lot of original concepts, and right now you will barely find players there.

I agree that it'd be best to try out the Worms Reloaded demo, but if you wan a short answer now: no, you're probably better off not getting Worms Reloaded simply because the games are too similar to spend another €20 when you already have one.
That's Worms Reloaded though. Worms Revolution looks kinda promising. You should check back here once it comes out, although that'll probably be a good while.

Also, what we can all agree on is that Worms Armageddon with updates is definitely better than Worms World Party!

If anything, wait until there's a good deal on Steam to get Worms Reloaded much cheaper.
E.g. 60% or 75% off.

Or if you find a boxed, retail copy for the same low price.
(It's a Steamworks game, so you'll get a key in the box that you can redeem on Steam.)
