its also written somewhere else but if you have an ATI card, try uninstalling your current graphic drivers, reboot, and install the 9.8 drivers, my game works flawlessfly now without any patch no cd fix or anything

though i had a problem with the drivers at first, when i did reboot vista couldnt load the drivers and used the default ones instead, i had to go to the folder C:\Program Files\ATI\CIM\Bin64, run stup.exe, click install, custom install and i reinstalled the driver, it worked the next boot, i have no idea why i got this but if your driver works right away you wont need this, just run the game
