Just curious - there's no online highscore list for these and I'd really like to know how well others have performed.

So I'm either looking for some kind of an online highscore list or alternatively, you can just post your times or replays in this thread. Very excited, although I haven't really bothered doing well at the trainings - yet. I hope seeing other people's scores can get me to try and beat their times :p

Hm, I don't think that theres a list for the training mission records, although I know people have tried training TA/speed runs.

There is a list for the regular missions, although it obviously only includes times that have been manually submitted: http://worms2d.info/Mission_records

So there's no list for the trainings at all? Too bad :(

It is cheating, essentially. There are WA builds that feature frame-by-frame movement and re-dubbing, allowing users to create awesomely complex replays of missions, rope races etc..

But do not worry; these builds have been made as secure as possible. They do not support any form of online/LAN play, the replays produced by these builds are encrypted and cannot be played back by anyone other than TA build owners, and they have of course only been handed to a very small number of people (probably single digits). The security precautions taken are to ensure the prevention of accidental exposure of the build. You can be 100% positive that anyone who would even consider using this method to share such confidential work will never be granted access to a TA build anyway.
