OS: Windows 7 Premium x64
CPU: AMD Phenom x3 8600 @ stock speed
Video card: Asus 9800 GT with latest drivers

Using original Microprose CD with latest update (.31). No Wormkit, no snooper.

Tried to open a replay. Finished loading, then WA crashed. Happened on the second attempt as well.

Errorlog & Crash.DMP from first attempt attached, also replay file.

CD has been working fine, haven't had a BSOD in a long time.

I see that the replay is from 2009, so it was likely made from an old version of wa, which may be incompatible and not playable with the current version. Just a hunch.

If old replays aren't compatible, "they" should consider making them compatible...

They are compatible... It playbacks fine for me. Deadcode should help you, I hope;)

Extremist2, that replay plays fine for me too. The crash dump makes it look like your W:A thought it got minimized and tried to restore itself, but couldn't find a .dir graphics file (which as far as I can tell currently, is either a Gfx*.dir file on the hard disk or a Level.dir / Water.dir file on the CD-ROM). Maybe I'll be able to figure out more by further analysis of the crash dump.

That will never happen. I make every effort to ensure that replays going back to the beginning (December 2003*) play back in perfect sync. If you ever find an old replay that doesn't play back correctly, please report it.

*and even earlier, for replays extracted from network logs (so far, just my own going back to December 2000; AFAIK nobody else recorded network logs of W:A)

If it helps, whenever I start WA, it immediately minimizes, then works normal when I fullscreen it.

Apologies sir. I stand corrected.

I appear to have some kind of minimizing issue. Will try reinstalling...
