It's already released! Each video is simply made from three different replays.

hmmm don't think so. After the winning jetpacker skips, the other 2 drop at the same time. Looks to me to be the same game.
I look forward to this :P

After the winning jetpacker skips, the other 2 drop at the same time.
Question about that: I would think that skip would be useless and that all 3 worms would have to surrender or die/plop for the game to end. Perhaps skip was used just for testing purposes. Also, the winning worm need not skip their turn for the other worms to be able to finish the race, which is cool.

Also, I has hoping to see some weapons usage in the battle race, but I guess if everyone was shooting everyone else, then noone would really be able to race.. hehehe ;)

you are right, but not only from the gameplay side, but also from the technical one - that's not possible currently

Realtime for PX is in development for quite a while now...

2-3 years I think, so I wouldn't call fake.

no, some years ago it was being developed during just 5 days and then dropped. nothing has been done about it since then (in 2012, PX 1.0 should include real-time, we hope).

Realtime boom race (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq46CMoIHLM)
Laggy! (too many worms acting and exploding for realtime). No interactions (/boomrace enabled).
What a shame, this seemed like it would work so well in realtime. :(

I seem to remember a while back someone talking about testing an unreleased (early) version of realtime. He said it was a tower race with weapons, that was quite buggy.
I guess that was a lie...

yeah, it lags much :D however I found a buddy, whose PC is strong enough to prevent lags in video, and I will upload his version soon (with 1080p HD :D )

that wasn't a lie, I still have that DLL.;) But as I said before, it works only on Windows XP with 3.6.29.0 and has loads of bugs (and requires the port 18000 to be forwarded). Never tried it, but was close to.

A Realtime Boom Race without lags and with awesome 1080p HD.:)

Thanks to Waffle for filming and his strong PC, of course.
But still, I don't recommend a realtime boomrace :D
