h, i posted the same on tus forums, so some people can contact each other if they think its neccasary : http://www.tus-wa.com/forums/tus-discussion/doubletime-12156/msg97722/?topicseen#new

i got no idea what he is doing to bypass his wn ban etc but its def annoying always to drop against him. is this caused by some wormnet ban stuff or in his "semi pirate version", or is it just bl? anyway would it be possible to remove this wn ban, it really decreaes the comfort of playing a league game.(you always need to chat with someone who isnt allowed to use his nick etc)
i post here just to get a feedback about this since many players still play him.
i think its a matter of tus as well because he is allowed to play league games but thats somehow limited due to his wn ban.

this whole "what to do with dt after the komo stuff" should be reconsidered. if he violated the tus rules he should be punished from tus. this wormnet ban is a ****ing joke because the ban is based on violating a league. if you want to punish him for causing trouble in ag there should be more people banned.

A WormNET ban cannot affect in-game connectivity and cause "drop-outs".

It is perfectly possible to play W:A online without connecting to WormNET - via Direct IP, 3rd-party or your own WormNET servers.

The ban is based on years of misbehaviour; it is not easy to receive a permanent WormNET ban for such reasons. Doubletime put an obscene amount of effort and time into disrupting other players game experiences. He is lucky to have access to any part of this community, now.

As one of the people who have had the pleasure of dealing with the aftermath of his constant conflicts with other players, might I suggest that until your friend is emotionally mature enough to be able to enjoy the game in a way that doesn't result in him wasting the time of league staffers and the game's developers, he should perhaps refrain from playing competitively in the first place?

Even though we work together at times, it's not reasonable to expect that any community league should have exactly the same standards and methods in dealing with hecklers as WormNet moderators do. Since these leagues naturally depend on a player's ability to access WormNet, shouldn't it be their responsibility to make sure they don't lose it? And likewise these other players that you mention who agree to play against them anyway, despite the very clear warnings from all directions, have nobody but themselves to blame, surely.
