When i try to load worms armageddon on my netbook.
It keeps coming up with a message saying, "Worms Armageddon has stopped working".

I have, but when I try to run the game. It says, "Please insert Worms Armageddon CD-ROM into drive." Do I have to do anything or rename one of the drives to A:.

Do you have the Worms Armageddon ISO (that you created) mounted properly to the virtual drive?

I can't do this, "sigh". At least I have it on dreamcast. Or maybe, I could sell this computer and replace it with a one which has a CD\DVD-ROM drive & buy the game itself.

Edit 1: I have got the Worms 2 & Armageddon double pack on my Amazon wishlist anyway.

So now i downloaded and installed the Worms Armageddon-New edition (which is a version which you DON'T have to have the cd), but now, when i try to open WA, it comes up with an error saying "Worms Armageddon has encountered an error, for more details about the error, look in the ERRORLOG.TXT file." Help me please. I really like this game.

Why can't you refrain from downloading illegal copies and flood?

Because the game requires the latest beta patch to be installed. The latest beta patch is not guaranteed to support non-legitimate versions of the game. It is a waste of everyones time to troubleshoot problems that have likely already been fixed in the latest updates.

Not to mention, this is the official Team17 forum and piracy is not tolerated.

I downloaded and installed the latest patch for Worms Armageddon, but, when i try to open it, it says "Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart the application."

Edit: Im using a legimate copy of the game now.

2. Do you now have a complete image copy of the original disc? (an ISO/CUE/MDS/NRG file?)

Before you can play the game, you will need a way to read the CD from your own computer; either use someone elses computer to make a data file copy of the CD or buy an optical disc drive for your computer.

"Durr hurr hurr, lets see if this game works with half the necessary data on the disc missing." That's pretty much what your doing with an incomplete disc image.

I don't have a CD-ROM drive. And i can't buy one because im saving up to go on holiday to New York & Florida next year.

ITS 5 DOLLARS ~ i still maintain that more copies of the disc are sold because of piracy than any other reason. ironic. go buy the damn game, if your not smart enough to be a pirate then time to go to port and buy some supplies.

Oh well. At least i have it on the dreamcast.

Ok. So i downloaded an .iso file of the the ORIGINAL game, not the crappy new edition. And when i try to open it, the a black screen, and then the following message, "Worms Armageddon has stopped working."
