Hi guys , I've been playing worms online for about 2-3 weeks, and now all of a sudden if i try and play on wormnet it sticks at the Connecting, please wait... screen. I don't know why, the game works fine but it just won't connect to wormnet. I've left it on the connecting , please wait... screen for at least 20 minutes but still it won't work. Any ideas? :(

Also something i forgot is that if i use my brothers laptop the game connects perfectly, so it must be my laptop's problen, ive tryed re installing but i still wont connect :(

First thing to do is to make sure your firewall or antivirus isn't stopping the game from connecting to the internet

What version of the game are you using? If it doesn't time out on the connecting screen after a few minutes, that might mean you're using an older version. I think they changed that. If you hover your mouse over the logo on the main screen (the one with 4 huge buttons) it will say what version you have.

Have you tried connecting via ProSnooper? You can chat and enter online games with ProSnooper without having to take your chances hanging your system on the connect screen.

It would be cool if there was a release date next to the Patch and Beta Update to better clarify just how old the official patch is.

You mean like on the beta updates page (http://worms2d.info/Beta_updates) where they're all listed with release dates beside them?
