well, I had worms armageddon installed and tryed to join wormnet with it and it said i cannot join since i need the latest patch for the game or something...

i tryed installing (two different times since I copied the w:a catalog if anything goes wrong after a patch upgrade) with "WAPatch.exe" and "WA_update-3.6.31.0_Beta_Installer.exe" .. with WAPatch I got some error message, and with the 3.6.31.0 I got a "no cd error"

are any of these the correct versions? I have a clean Worms Armageddon installed now (no upgrades) what do I do exactly step by step to get the latest version and be able to joina WormsNet...? Thanks!

Don't install the 3.0 patch. It's not necessary, and will cause problems if your game is already version 3.0. Just install the latest Beta Update, and it will automatically install the patch if your game needs it.

Try inserting the disc... if you don't have a disc then buy a retail (Disc) version of the game.

but...thats one of the two versions I said I installed after a clean new W:A installation...it didnt work for me

You need a disc to play the game, you have not said if you have one yet.
