Title.

And don't go all like "They're working on it" I'm no programmer but I KNOW that if they were working as hard as they SHOULD be, the W3D maps would be out by now. They even promised it.

I am seriously disappointed, half the stuff that was supposed to be in the game isn't.

And because of that, there's basically nobody for online play. So you can count that out, too.

I have no idea of the context surrounding this update. But you've clearly no idea about programming/development have you? :P

Well, they really should've been out before the game was released.

Also, BillT17 appears to have disappeared from the forum.

Remakes never get a lot of active players tho...

U realize what u just asked Team 17 to do right? The impossible for them, they wont, sorry I meant the CAN'T update this game. Team 17 sell your rights to the Worms franchise PLEASE!! WE want game developers that actually Care about the product they put out but ESPECIALLY are willing to fix the product they put out. Like one dude said iys already too late to fix it cuz nobody plays anymore

I'm sure they're gonna do it... and by the way you shouldn't be so rude with them: they give us a wonderful game (Worms Crazy Golf), let's wait a bit.

considering the maps are already in the game simply making them playable i cant imagine is the most difficult of tasks. in fact add maps to multiplayer in games these days is fairly standard. most companies can do it rather quickly yet team 17 hasnt done it yet. clearly team 17 has dropped the ball on this game which is a shame.

With the sort of manners most of the people clamoring for patches/changes exhibit, i'm not surprised that T17 isn't being more vocal about what they're doing.

being a small company isnt an excuse. also team 17 has been around long enough and made enough games to know how this stuff works.

so like i said no excuses for dropping the ball here.

Maybe. Maybe not. If a feature was never intended from the start it can be very hard to bodge in at a later date depending on the design decisions made. Not that I'm defending anyone in particular, I'm just aware how fiddly working on a large software project can be.

I do hope they'll keep us posted on how or when the update is coming along, I stopped playing this game because of all the good games that are coming out now, but I do intend to pick it up again when a update comes out.

If they make the w3d maps purchasable in the shop and add a 1v1 ranked match option for deathmatch this game would instantly be a great game to play, sure there are other issues but I would highly appreciate if they just give us a quick patch that addresses these issues and save the rest for later, giving us at least a decent game to play instead of taking ages to fix everything. If it was a other company than t17 I would demand a real update, but I can live with a smaller update from t17 if they just hurry up with it for ones.

I just hope they give us a little update on what's going on, even if they decide to do nothing. Knowing is at least better that hoping for something that isn't coming.
