WHY is it not possible to set the ammount of Worms in a Multiplayer match to 8vs8 when playing with 2 players? Seriously, Mayhem had this feature, why to the heck is it not possible anymore?

Worms Mayhem did not ever have that feature. Each team only has 6 worms when you make it, another two can't magically appear. If you really want that, give each player two teams with the same alliance(screws up weapon delays), and each side will have eight worms.

BUT you still could control the amount of Worms for each team.

The 8vs8 was wrong, yes, I forgot that Mayhem only can handle 6 Worms per team.

And there is no option for giving a player another team.

4vs4 is absolutely boring.

Both of those are still possible. When putting your teams in the match, click the team name, and you can adjust the number of worms, team colour(alliance) and handicaps.

You have to chose your team before you join online mode. There is no way to put another team in the lobby.

edit: I AM talking about the ONLINE mode. Not hotseat vs local multiplayer!

Ah, I see that now, it is odd that those features are missing for online, I assumed they would be there, since they are in hotseat(Which is all I have played so far with my buddies, since they haven't bought the game yet)

We made a petition in Steam forums too. You can't change colour of teams, number of worms, handicap and of course, the wormpot isn't available online.
But you already answered about this last feature.
