I haven't heard of this game until I saw this under supported games. Wasn't think a canceled Worms title, like Worms Kart racing? Any announcement or anything?

There is an announcement (http://www.team17.com/?p=843) and some (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4yhNtQfqyo&feature=related) trailers (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IUcHLI3MOk).

It probably isn't getting much attention because it's a "spin-off game" and they haven't announced a release date or anything yet.

Should be another video this week (pirate themed course) and then hopefully an actual release date.

Please bring this game to XBLA

I think its only fair that PSN gets this timed exclusively really considering the other 2 Worms games were timed for XBL.

No such thing as fair in this game, microsoft pay to get the exclusives.

But this game hasn't been announced as a timed exclusive for PS, it's announced just for PS, no xbox.

They had better bring this to xbox some day because i will never own a PS3.

Wheres the proof MS paid?

I own both consoles so it doesn't matter to me in the slightest, but clearly T17 are being fair considering this looks to be timed exclusive to PSN at the very least. If you don't have a PS3 then your only other option is a PC. Simple.

Proof? It is well known that this is just what M$ do.

My PC is from the stone age and isn't suitable for playing games on.

Sony has also thrown cash around this gen, probably not as much but mortal kombat, battlefield, assassins creed etc. to name a few have had PS only content, and since PS+, Sony have had a ton of exclusive games on PSN. This (http://www.develop-online.net/news/38820/PSN-twice-as-popular-as-XBLA-for-UK-devs) article shows that 30 UK studios are working on PSN yet only 16 for XBLA, whether that's Sony's $$$ or because MS are too 'controlling' with studios and games is unknown. So that's at least 14 exclusive PSN games, one of which could be Worms Crazy Golf.

Anyway I hope theres a demo for this, I'm kinda on the fence.

It really is not the case of money paid to develop for a particular platform, at least not in our case. For us it's all about what staff we have available at any given time which usually means we can't develop for all platforms at the same time, nothing sinister in that.

I went ahead and bought it, its quite fun but takes some getting used to. Got 7 of the trophies from just one game lol
