So i am getting really sick of all the spam of DLC, WHY RELEASE 4 DLC PACKS AND NOT JUST 1 FOR 15?? Is it because by doing so you think your being overly cleaver tricking people into buying something that's not worth it? Because i got news for you, the only reason people spend stupid amounts of money on DLC and F2P is because people will spend money on entertainment when there is nothing better to do because everyone is in your, "i am a god of the industry" mind set, busy trying to make as much money as possible.

Don't get me wrong i am not one of those people who think spending $5 on a game is a waste of money, quite the opposite i see it as an investment, however i already payed for your game and now you think you can charge for what use to be know as a patch as DLC, if you cannot see the scrupulous nature involved with this i am not going to argue it too you because you have clearly already done the necessary mental gymnastics to justify it to yourselves.

Considering most of my childhood was playing worms, this makes me sad guys, very VERY sad and i am not trying to slander you at all, however you really need to put yourselves into your customers shoes THEN wonder why you don't sell as many game copy's when everyone knows there is going to be a time when DLC comes out and into the future a little bit more a complete pack is going to come waltzing on by at about 1/2 the price if i had supported your company from the get go and bought all of your content, and that brings me to my next point content.

At what point in recent history did DLC become popular? or more precise when did it become popular for game developers? After you all saw how much money someone like Bobby Kotick can make on a bad game like COD:MWF 2 and up did the industry go, "o look we don't need to cater to gamers any more gaming has become mainstream", but what i think you are forgetting is while yes it is true games have become very popular in the last few years it is only a matter of time before a new branch of Movie/game genera comes out and gamers will have there good games and the mainstream public will continue to follow what the people on the TV say is OK to do at the time.

I just really hope you don't think that by releasing worms and following the current trend that people are not going to remember in the near future and not support your company for previous "wrong doings" because the time will come when you wont get your money for your DLC :)

It's very obvious to see what spending most of your childhood to playing worms does to your mind.

First: They released four DLC's because people now can choose which part they want to buy. For instance, some people don't like forts, so they don't have to pay for the Forts Pack.

Next: It is plain and simple economy. The game industry in general just tries to make as much money as possible, just like all the industries. They just calculate how many people would buy certain products for which price, taking the most profit in account. Period. Offcourse all customers would be more happy with free DLC, that's justn ot how the world works

Lastly: You obviously think the price for this DLC is to high, so don't buy. No one in the world has to change opinion or product prices, because you think something about it. They could actually charge 10.000 dollar for it. NO one would buy, but if that's what they want for it, then theyt have the right to ask for it. Take it or leave it, but don't act as pathetic as this. Respect other people's business, and also the customers who do pay for this DLC.

To me, this DLC is of very good quality. It's cheap, I actually bought it twice, to gift it to someone. Man, the vanilla game for 25 dollar is cheap if you like the game. And now this DLC for 15 dollar is cheap also if you like it! If you think it's not, then get a job and earn decent money.

I'm not quite sure why you are so angry - if you dont want extra content for the game don't buy it.

The new content has been in development for months with people working hard on it. Its a shame you think like that.

I assume that they split the content into different packages to allow people to choose what they want.
E.g. someone that only plays offline and alone probably is more interested in the puzzles than the forts.

Also:
Welcome to the future!
DLC is the new standard in the industry and honestly I don't see anything wrong, because it means a game is supported longer, and not just dropped after a few months and then going on to the next full price sequel with a new year number slapped at the end.

THIS =)

@Pickupstic

if you want all dlcs it will cost you as much as 1 normal dlc

if you are interested in just 1 or 2 dlcs you havent to pay the full price
+the content in each dlc is also okay
about 10 - ? hours gameplay (1 dlc) is totally fair for a worms game

i think this dlc model is fairly fair xD

if you would rage about some fallout dlc .. i willl say k you are right ...but

why open a thread just to get angry and say you wont buy it ?
just dont buy it calm down and STFU xD

And another thing: usually people buy products and later, when they have tried them, they write into the forums what they had disliked or not about the product.

I would like to know if the guys that complain about these new DLCs bought them.
In these packs there are a lots of levels, but these things are not necessary to play this game online with your friends.

So if you are bored and you want some extra missions you can buy it. You think it's a waste of money... you don't have to buy it.

But there is a BIG difference between saying that and saying (without had bought it) that this work is a less quality product.

By the way I like this new DLCs and I want to thank Team17 again for this new marvellous Worms game and their continue updates
(I'm gonna buy all the DLCs as my parents give me the money ;)).

DLC is a tricky thing and we took a lot of time thinking about what people wanted. We had lots of requests for more single player content and we also wanted to make sure that nobody got anything in DLC that would give them an unfair advantage. We believe that the DLC is priced well, each one only costs the price of a pint of beer in london, 1 and a half pints in ossett (maybe 2 in a working mens club) and people can choose which part they like the best. Personally I love the Puzzle pack. :)

P.S.
I've bought them all a couple of days ago.

Yeah, like I've stated before, the price for a single of the DLC packs seems fair. However, there's enough people who want to buy 2, 3 or all of the packs you offer, and then it turns out to be quiet an expensive purchase. Thus a complete pack with a reduced price would have been an appreciated offer :)

DLC is the future... And Team17 did this right I think.. The only thing is, though, you should create a DLC Pack that combines all of them for -25% the price or something.
