View Full Version : Girder and Magnets tweak

I've been working on making a strategic scheme for playing offline, which has all weapons but finds a good equilibrium between them (with weapon delays, few ammo, a lot of health crates, etc) by using tweaking files.

One of the strategic elements, is for example the initial 4 turns where only utilities are avaiable (and in the 4th turn you can drop mines)..

I would like to change this:
->I want to be able to put the girder anywhere on the map
- The bridge kit has a lot of girders, so i understand the restriction of distance. But I think the single girder could be usefull by increasing it's application distance. It would create a nice dynamic, giving different options to the player. (one gird far, or kit close)
->I want to increase the number of turns the magnets work - Sometimes i feel they get inactive too fast

I cant find any files which do this. Can someone tell me how can i do it?

Another thing: I also edited a tga map file, adding some stuff to the map but now I can't get one of those nice animated backgrounds while playing on that map. Is there a way to activate one of the animated backgrounds?

I don't know why Team17 disabled that option, however there's a tool to download that helps you change the background: http://wormgineers.com/index.php?page=File&id=227
