Yesterday I decided to buy WormsReloaded. Remembering the old days of Worms Armageddon I was in anticipation for a nice LAN. Now the problem:

Me and my friends are living in a rural region and so the Internet is not so good. So we always use the offline mode from Steam and play over LAN (e.g. counterstrike). Now we wanted to do exactly the same with WormsReloaded. I run steam in offline mode and start Worms. Everything is ok till here. But then, when I want to open a Lobby in Offline Mode Worms say that it cannot create one... Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

How can we play over LAN?

Um, there's no LAN multiplayer in WR. Just online and hotseat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hotseat_%28multiplayer_mode%29).

Maybe reddev33 thinks that you will be required to be connected to Steam if you want to use the mouse pad.

That's not true: there is LAN mode too...

Go into the multiplayer menu and press "Local Match".

Unfortunately, that's the same as 'singleplayer > custom match'.
So, this is a match on 1 single PC, no LAN.
