Okay, so, first question:

Why neon?

It disguises the fact they're MSPaint pics.

It disguises the fact they're MSPaint pics.actually it just highlights (literally) how poorly drawn they are....

I imagine he just found a glow tool in whatever program he uses and thought it looked "AWESOME!1111!11!"

While learning the new glow tool, he also unlearned the crop tool.

I'm not sure if that first one meets the one-minute rule.

Hey now, that's a bit harsh. I'm sure he put a lot of creative effort into combining King DeDeDe with Sonic the Hedgehog.

Eh, at least there's a thread here.

Oh, there's actually tons of other threads here.

They're just not active.

Here's a new one, which I hope is better than my pictures above:

I'm still learning how to do vector graphics, so it's not perfect.

On account of that the lines are actually connected, I would have to say, yes, it's definitely better.

But ultimately, the entire style you draw the worm in is just... bad. Worms are generally supposed to be Cute 'n' Pudgy, while yours is stringy and misshapen.

Worms are generally supposed to be Cute 'n' Pudgy, while yours is stringy and misshapen.the style a worm is drawn in doesn't matter at all. I can immitate his style and the worm would still look nice. the issue with his drawing is the absolutely horrendous perspective work and a boring lack of variation in pose between the images.

Yeah the style is fine, it's just missing the creativity, you're always drawing the same worm in the same pose, which makes it look like you can't do anything else.

The tophat wearing worm does look pretty determined though, with his walking cane, mustache and suit.
Serious business, I suppose.

It's one thing to say that you don't like his style, but how can you claim that the style is supposed to be in a certain way? Just because Team17 does them in a certain way means everybody has to do it the same way? What's so artistic about copying somebody else style?

Do you also think it's wrong to do music covers and play a song in a different style?

They're pink, big-eyed, big-mouthed, four-fingered floating hands, and with no other features whatsoever*. I literally cannot picture something like that, looking good, that cannot be described as "cute" or "pudgy". It's nothing to do with how they're officially drawn.

*well, except for eyebrows.

*everyone always forgets the eyebrows.

You missed the point entirely.

Thanks for your feedback, guys. I'll try to take it into account when I draw my next picture.

Well, how about a faded pink, demonesc, bulbous bloodshot eyed, big ol' fanged mouth, and floating four finger'd claws of death. All shaped like a worm. Don't know about you, but throw in some moody shading, or dank bloodstained walls, heck both while you're at it, and I doubt even you would call it "cute."

SgtFusion,
Take their comments lightly... your work won't be hanging in a museum anytime soon but probably the most important thing is practice.

Piece of advice: Check out this link: http://www.dragoart.com/tuts/1274/1/1/how-to-draw-tatty-teddy-the-me-to-you-bear.htm

It shows some of the building blocks of drawing/sketching/perspective etc... there are other great tutorials on the net just google some "sketching tutorials"

Don't let this lot get you down... just use the negativity to work harder.
