Bought this game recently and was exciting if it would run on my Win 7 x64 setup. Thankfully it does pretty well, expect one thing I came across for now.
Cut and splash screens does not play correctly. I can hear sound playing in background but the screen remains black, the mouse freezes too for the moment.
At startup it showing the loading screen instead of those normally splash screens. Don't ask me why.

Some information about my system:

Platform: PC
OS: Win 7 x64
DirectX 10 installed

Things I have done so far:

- reinstalled the game
- "no movies" unchecked
- Installed newest graphic driver
- Running the game in compatibility mode
- Searched the forum.

I'm sorry that I have no idea how to deal with Windows 7 and can't really help you. However, if all else fails, you can watch the clips seperately... to do so, open the folder "Worms 4 Mayhem\data\FMV\(your preferred language)". Note that the clip "arabian", for instance, plays at the beginning of the Arabian campaign. "meet the professor" is the clip that plays if you open the story book for the first time.

Thanks for trying. Didn't know I was able to play them directly from that folder.

I have attached the XOM file, not sure it reveals anything about my issue.
