I'm doing a bit of research and would love to know what your favorite Worms customization accessories are, is it a particular hat, hair style or mustache? or are we missing something really obvious that you would like to see?

Voices and weapons. Worms struggle to protect their world from being blown apart. They don't have time for clothes or hair styles. Also, they don't have hair.

Weapons indeed:

As for clothing/hats:
A Mexican-style sombrero and large moustache would be nice.

This thread is clearly about the product line Team17 is planning to roll out. Voices and cartoony weapons are legitimate "accessories" for such a product line, which probably includes toys. As requested in the first post, I gave my opinion on what I, personally, would be interested in if I was a kid interested in owning products from such a product line.

Why am I explaining simple things to a troll again? sigh There'll be no more posts from me in this thread.

Oh great, thanks for deleting the response - so here I go again:

heh... well actually I'm not a too big fan of totally silly accessories, unless they're references to anything. Plain hats like this Marine (http://www.mcvuk.com/static/images/news/43111/184_24222_Worms_g.jpg?i=1298021766) helmet look fine imo ;)

A hat on top of a hat, on top of another hat, on top of another hat. The number of hats on your head is indicative of social status. The more hats, the higher up in social ranks you are.

True story.

I would like to see body customization apart from adding accesories......
I mean, weight(fat,thin)...height(taller,smaller).....eyes (big,small,asian,hypno).....etc
I know its too much for a patch, but maybe in a future game....

What ever happened to team weapons?

Unlike all these shiny visual accessories, picking a special weapon for your team actually had an impact on the gameplay. It made things more diverse, unpredictable and interesting. Among newer players, it did no harm and was just an extra source of fun, but during fierce battles between skilled opponents or clans, your choice of team weapon could actually determine your long-term strategy and sometimes you were forced to change it after you'd seen what scheme would be played (and on what map). Not to mention keep your opponents guessing what you have until the very end, when it was already too late. Great stuff.

Sure it introduces the problem of having to at least somewhat balance (via number of uses and delay) the possible options, but as long as you're not letting people design their own Poisonous Super Donkey Turret On Fire and use that, you should be fine.

I'd like to see a choice in actual animations and poses. Y'know, like having a team that's really angry or one that's always playful. Maybe always nervous, or just... old men. And then we could have the default pose to things other than "worm standing straight, calmly breathing, staring at nothing in particular".

The newest game in the series, Battle Islands, features Team weapons. What's more, you can actually craft them yourself, however you have to collect difficult-to-reach crates containing blueprints in the campaign mode to increase their power.

Oh. I've been playing Worms Armageddon/World Party/3D/Forts for so many years and never got the feeling of a real strategy twist... apart from that I've been laughing at people that choose Old Woman, Mole or Skunk which are real weak compared to the HHG or Pidgeons. As for Worms Forts, it doesn't make sense to choose any other weapon than Hippopotamus as it could deal the most damage to buildings, 250 points to be exact. For that matter I honestly don't really care for team weapons...

That's a lovely idea. I don't see what's wrong about that standard posing, although it sure is boring.

I want the Worms 4 animations back.

:O How? Whenever I've played anyone else vaguely experienced and we *both* want to win, it gets really rather intense.

I would like having the hair and mustache customization (similar to Worms Battle Island and Worms 4: Mayhem one). I also would like having Lemming hair in Worms Reloaded... can you insert it from Worms 2: Armageddon?
