THQ shutdown those servers over a year ago and they are unlikely to ever come back (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38282).

Return WOW2 and buy Worms Battle Islands from the PSN store (http://forum.team17.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=104) if you want to play Worms online on your PSP.

Yea, if I just spent 20 bucks on a game I can't play online (though it's clearly pointed out at the cover), I feel motivated to buy another one :p

Yea, THQ shut down the servers. Because they SUCK.

Because of them, Space Oddity released without an online mode. THQ SUCKS.

And now that Battle Islands on Wii's got neither movies nor soundtracks, it's all down to THQ to add this stuff. I foresee they'd give it a sh*t - THQ SUCKS.

Suck, suck, suckedy, suck...

By the way, I got the PSP version of OW2 only a few weeks after the servers went down, coulda bitten my *ss off.

If you just got a psp, go and buy battle island on the PS Store, online works.

Hi pope,

do you have Battle Island allready?
Wait for you for big matches :)

Now there are more people online, and since I played, no quitter yet!

Not cool. The Wii guys quit like crazy.

I really want to get the PSP version as well, though getting it is a torture. How did you acquire the freaking 18+ rated PSN points?

Hi,

Hi Turbo yeah we had some epic battles, i miss that. Just downloaded the demo a couple of days ago, it looks fun and i don't know how to explain this exactly but I feel like the last games i bought from t17 are more profit oriented than customer satisfaction oriented... so i still hesitate because i have other games where i want to buy dlc's with my PSN money... The other games have good support, they frequently release free patches for any bugs, glitches or even improvements and for the last worms games there is no support, always bugs and limited options so yeah, will see later. Do you have a ps3?

Updates and bug fixes? For a PSP/Wii game?

Actually, Worms Reloaded pleasures in rather good support. But you can neither anticipate it for Wii or PSP games, since fixes are impossible, unless you take other steps, such as a product recall.

I was actually referring to the 2 worms i bought from psn for my ps3, sorry i wasn't very clear... But battle island for psp could probably get patches in case of bugs since it's a downloadable game which allows online connection/gaming... right?

You wish. I wish. But no. :p

Actually, I'm not sure if it could possibly be patched, all I know is that apparently no PSP game has ever been patched.
