Hi, since I use Avira Anti Virus software I get a Virus alert when scanning the .exe beta update. And after installing the the update WA.exe is also a virus. I have reinstalled the Game and re-downloaded the Patch and still got the same results. I have then uploaded the update file to a multi scanner and got a few results, here you can see them:

Plz report back if that are false alerts. :)

Avira has already confirmed that this is a false positive:

God I hate Avira and their aggressive scanner. Instead of blocking everything, maybe they should collect samples for a change, like other antivirus do?

Yeah, Avira has been very trigger happy recently. I still kind of like it, I guess, but I'll definitely be trying Avast and the free Microsoft one out when I get a desktop PC of my own. Anyway, they seem to have sorted the WA.exe false positive out already with yesterday's definition file update, so at least we know they can solve stuff quickly.

Hey there, Kai.

BitDefender Total Security 2010 recognizes the latest beta (v3.6.31.0.) as a virus.

Its very annoying~ I added the folder path as an exception, but I learned the hard way that scheduled virus scans will still detect the game if I am running W:A during the scan, which causes game to instantly CTD, and the .exe gets deleted

D'oh.

Also, Avira seems to have started picking the 3.6.31.0 executable up now too. Submit those false positive reports, people!
