Hello, I loaded up W:A, went Hot-seat, added 1 team with randomly generated names (generated from a previous W:A 3.6.30 session), maxed out the number of worms on the team, left the scheme as [intermediate] and opened the map editor, I trashed the map by clicking the trash can a thousand times to watch the little animation, I then single clicked to add random straight lines to the map and closed the editor.

I started the game and got a crash, here is the error log. Note, I am unsure why the errorlog says I have no physical memory, physical memory that is free, page file and page file that is free. Windows has set aside 9gigs of Swap File on C:\ partition.

Crash caused by DirectSound error. Not sure if it's related to the other sound problems.

I added some minor clarification to what I did to cause it but below makes this statement moot :P

I can't play offline skirmish/hot-seat, I tried different numbers of teams, a randomly generated map from a small thumbnail, changing to a non intrinsic scheme and, changing to a PNG map.

edit: and affects online too, it started after trying to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 which failed and reverted the changes.

So essentially can't play any game.

This was caused by an oversight on my part, I had forgotten my Startmenu shortcut was pointing to Wormkit.exe and not WA.exe thus leading me to get confused as originally I was running the game from Windows Explorer.
