I have uninstalled/reinstalled WA a few times and the sound stops working after i install the new beta patch.

Is the sound gone in both the front end and during the game?

It happens to me too: I got no sound at all in the front-end, but in game everything's fine.

My config:
OS: Windows Xp SP3
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-8IPE775-G
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 530, 3000 MHz
RAM: 3 GB DDR
Video: ATI Radeon X1650
DirectX version: 9.0c
Audio: M-Audio Fast Track Pro

All the drivers are up-to-date.
