Hello guys, I suscribed here cause I can't add custom flags in the game.

1-I made using Photoshop CS2 an image 20*17 pixels as required.
2-I saved it as .bmp image, 8-bit colours.
3-I put the file in Team17/Worms World Party/users/flags.

But when customizing a team in the options, the flag not appears in the list :(

What did I wrong ?

Here's the pic: http://FastFreeFileHosting.com/file/45812/Flanders-bmp.html

Could someone help to find a solution ? Thanks in advance :D

I'm havng this problem constantly as well, even though I saved the flag in the proper format (I'm using PSP7 but that doesn't make a huge difference I think)

With this little trick it always works:

-duplicate an existing flag from the WWP flag folder, like BritWorm. Call it BritWorm2 or whatever you want.
-open BritWorm2 in MSPaint.
-fit your custom flag in the opened version of BritWorm2.
-save it as BritWorm2.
-rename it manually to the name you want.

I think it's because it would save it as the *right* 8-bit colours supported by the game or something. I really don't know :p

If there's a better way, I'd like to know it. Otherwise this trick should work.

You guys aren't setting the palette to colours from what Photoshop calls Windows.aco. It's a swatch file that should come with Adobe software by default.

If, when making Wormy resources such as flags and graves, you only use those colours, and save it as an 8 bit BMP when you're done, you should be fine.

I tried again using the PS windows palette...

It works perfectly now :D

Thanks a lot for the hint KRD !
