I'm just wondering: will we ever get any further updates with new hats? I'm sure a ton of us would be happy to draw them if we were given the correct parameters to work within. heck. would it ever be possible to upload our own hats like we did flags back in W:A? they're not animated, they're not hit-boxed, and they disappear when some other headgear is used for the weapons, so I can't imagine it would break anything too overly horribly.

But again, it was possible in WA too, for graves etc..., and no one complained about it, so I guess there is nothing wrong with hats. Even if they are shaped like... you know what, I'm sure no one will ever care about that. So yeah, I'd like to see that. Custom graves and hats would be really cool.

pfft. I played armageddon tons and saw minimal adult graves. they were around, yes, but it wasn't that much and they were such low resolution it was hard to be bothered by them.

and even then. put a report player button somewhere. if they use a hat you're offended by, report em. then the reporter can feel better, T17 can shovel the reports into an e-mail no one ever checks and we'll all go on about our lives :p

I think team17 should keep W:R customalisation to just the team and worms names, the rest should all be default stuff. I'm sure new hats will appear from time to time, but they'll be nothing but official hats. I can't imagine playing this game for a long time when people play around with pamela anderson hats or goatse hats or whatever comes to the sick mind of some people.

Customalisation should be kept to a limit, I think that limit is reached allready.

I'm for official hats and maybe players giving T17 ideas for new ones.

Apart from the fact people will add total nonsense hats like... what do I know? A huge black block on the head? There are a lot of idiots floating around unfortunately.

How about a competition where people can submit their drawings. It should end up with a user vote, where the top#5 will be added to the game?

3x a year should be more then enough :)

I do like the thought of official community-made hats, but I don't like the idea of having custom hats. Mostly because I see a huge influx in suckitude! Aside from the regular bad-at-drawing thing, there's also that hats are much more dependant on being able to fit the worm properly too.

Plus it would destroy the whole spend-money-to-buy-hats thing, for what it's worth.

Hey, I wouldn't mind drawing a neat pair of buttocks for my worms to wear on their head. :p Anyway, Worms Reloaded is already such a mix of different art styles, it probably doesn't matter anymore, I'm sure you can even draw random gibberish in MSPaint, and it will still look decent on your worms.

The only problem I can see is that exclusive hats don't have a point anymore because anyone can extract them and re-import them, and pretend they have exclusive content. But exclusive content is stupid anyway.

I just tossed in the custom suggestion as an extra. mostly I'd just like to see community contests to get more hats added in, or maybe something akin to what TF2 does, where we draw them, host them on the forums, and T17 tosses them in when they patch.

I just want some unnoficial editor that at least changes their appearance on my end. That way, I can make every single hat but the one I'm using be a sign that says "DUNCE". :cool:

Actually Team17 already arranged such competitions on facebook. There was a fort competition fort W2:A in 2009 which I won with a badly drawn MSPaint fort and a hat competition which I didn't won (I really wanted a racecar driver hat (http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs488.ash1/26679_432095563063_64566768063_5756490_2347233_n.j pg) for my Formula 1 team)

Well, there are already a bunch of hats in the game (labelled "Winner") that were from Facebook competitions (same goes for a few forts).

Also, there are 19 secret hats that are apparently only available on certain dates of the year.

I suppose that by saying "available on certain dates" you mean that on those dates they get unlocked, not that you can use them only on those days (silly question but I couldn't convince myself of the former)
