Hey All
I want to start by saying that I have searched the internet and i can't find any forums or FAQ's that answers my problem, so here it goes.

I found my old WA CD and installed it on my computer witch uses windows 7. The game starts alright but when I try to start a match I get a black screen.

I tried patching with .29 and .28 but still dosn't work. .29 just gives me a black screen with falshing red squares when i start the game, and .28 gived me wierd collurs and the abelity to see the game start loading when i start a match before going black.

Help please.

P.S. sorry for the bad english

Sounds like your monitor can't support the resolution W:A is set to use? Do you use a CRT?

Anyway, try changing the resolution in the options screen.

Hey CyberShadow.
I tryed to change the resulution, to both 800x600 and 1024x768. I tryed doing this only in the game and on both my computer and in the game. Any other ideas?
-Thanks

Do you use a CRT or LCD? If you use an LCD, you should try setting the game to use your LCD's native resolution (it'll typically be the highest resolution in the dropdown).

"a black screen with falshing red squares" is something I haven't heard before. What video card do you have?

So you see the loading pie before the game goes black?

My dad's LG monitor has some fancy pattern when "no signal" is detected. The pattern consits of a bunch of multi-coloured squares around the center of the screen changing colours repeatedly.
