Hi all,

I have read the sticky post, and have found that my friend cannot install the Direct X update. He's made sure to keep everything up-to-date and he got Worms Reloaded I believe after Team 17 patched the game.

He gets an error message along the lines of "Setup could not verify the integrity of the file update.inf. Make sure the Cryptographic Service is running on this computer.".

Now I actually had this problem myself, and I found that I had to download "d3dx9_40.dll" and place it in my Windows/System32 folder, and low and behold it worked! However the same cannot be said for my friend.

I gifted the game for his birthday (an early present) and it's such a shame that he can't enjoy the full experience.

I've tried doing a Google search but alot of the results mention messing with the registry which is something he'd like to avoid.

Has anyone else had this issue, or does anyone or can nyone advise a fix for it?
