Well i've been hearing tons of problems with this game and besides im not a pc user im a console user (Xbox 360 Worms 2 Live) Best game ever. skip using mouse cursers and computer screens and buttons on keyboard. I enjoy the "A", "B", "X", and "Y" buttons and nice flatscreen huge TV screen to sit on my comfy couch... can get any better than that! :) alot simplier but takes skills at a game as well.

You're a funny guy!

Virtually every game has more or less problems after launch.
The difference is, on PC, you'll quickly get patches, more so as T17 is self-publishing this title via Steamworks.

As for console, you'll have to wait months for additional testing and authorisation by Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo. That is, if you get patches at all.

And AFAIK, the XBLA version of W2:A has some issues too.

Guess what, I have 2 gamepads hooked to my PC too. And a large Full HD flatscreen. And I can comfortably sit either on my executive chair OR on my bed OR on my couch.

But wait, it doesn't stop there!
I also can use all the additional possibilities that a PC brings.
Like proper internet browsing. Or listening to my huge music collection. Or watching DVDs and movies.
Oh, and a keyboard where I can type much faster than with a gamepad or with the Wiimote.

The only skill I see in console games is coping with the complete and utter lack of control options with those limited buttons on a gamepad.

Unfortunately, this recent consolitis has already infected the PC platform, with many ports having painfully reduced interfaces.
Worms Reloaded is actually a good example there. Only with gamepad control someone would come up with those nasty menus where you have to click through all options.
On the PC with a mouse, you'd simply open a drop-down box and scroll through all options.
Or type in quick search keywords/initial letters.

Mark-O, did you really just come here and make a thread to say "I prefer console games over PC games"?

Fortunately, I've got that covered too, as I own a Wii (raffle prize) and a PS2 (gift from friend).

Wow just a flat tv? I feel sorry to hear that man.
As a pc gamer I have a full hd 3d tv with nvidia 3d glasses, I have multiple wireless controllers which are all optional but I never use them because I have high standards and only use keyboard and mouse.
As a pc user I also have the ability to use antialiasing and anisotropic filtering in games and when combined with my full hd 3d tv and my 3d glasses the experience is not even comparable with the consoles.
Though I have a 5 year old baby brother that plays with lego and with 360's and he really finds it a cool toy.

Aww and btw I recommend you to get a presidential chair with electronic massage, it beats any couch from a distance ;)

Ehehehe Busted :o

I argued with one guy that played mw2 on xbox.. he said "I shoot with one "trigger" on my pad, not with a click on the mouse.. so I replied that I rather aim with my whole hand than with my thumb and some assisted AI... sorry for this post, I just saw the opportunity to once more remember console users that games will be always top when played on a PC...
