Hi commnunity it is a great thing to experience you all keeping Worms Armageddon alive but enough of that.

I want to ask if there is a way to associate music with the type of Landscapes you play on. The way it works now is quite random.

I tried changing them in the Data/Streams folder but it seems not likely it works as i would like it too. (That is to play Forest theme when i play Forest based Landscapes etc etc.)

And i got a lot of music from all the worms games particualy some from Worms United i would like to use again if its possible.

If not could it may be implemented in the future because i mostly prefer the more sound effect like music used in the first Worms games.

Once again thx for the great support :)

No, the game only uses them in a random order, unless its the sudden death loop music tracks.

But I actually thought about this the other day as a suggestion for the future beta patches but forgot to mention it. I would have asked if we could have custom music so the game would look for a folder in the WA directory to use the music from and then go on to an additional option to have music based on the map's theme.

Nice reply

I support this suggestion i think its one of the things that have been missing since Worms 2 took over.
I remember the old Worms games where specific landscapes had themes.
Man i would love to have that returning i think it makes sense especially
when the tracks already are named like forest - jungle and so on.
Doesn't make a whole lot of sense that they arn't locked to some themes then :)
I think it could be a great way to enhance the atmosphere of Worms Armageddon by creating some more
Subtle themes like there where in Worms 1 i just can't get tired listening to all those crazy ambient sounds bjorn lynne put into that soundtrack :D

Well you can still mute the ambient sound and run Winamp or Foobar2000 in the background. :)

That is a not prefered solution though because you can't really see a playlist.
And if you try to Alt+tab to foobar2000 or winamp the color ****s up well thats on Windows 7 64 bit.

And for once if you have 27 landscapes its quite troublesome having to shift through all the tracks to find the one that you want to be suited to that Particulary Landscape. If you just enjoy listening to your own music in the game then i understand. But my problem is that i feel The music in Worms Armageddon has been thought as a After Thought where in Worms 1 it was thought as a way to enhance the atmosphere. by associating music themes with a landscape.
