I think they did a good job on this one. But I'll have to say I miss certain aspects of WA, having played it so much. The most glaring omissions to me seem to be the lack of a worm switcher, the limited way you can use girders, the roping, which although not bad, takes some getting used to and is nowhere as flexible as WA, but I guess that was intentional. Graphically the game is fantastic. Anyone miss the bow and arrow? :(
