Hi all,

That would be great if everybody posts there his self-made maps:

How to make one :

- Make a .TGA file with a drawing program in 2650x1280 pixels with a black background and aplha channel (look how MnP included maps are made)
- Put that file in your Steam\steamapps\common\worms reloaded\UserLandscapes
- Import it in the editor and save it to generate .lds and .kev files

How to play with a downloaded one :
- Put the files in your Steam\steamapps\common\worms reloaded\UserLandscapes

enjoy :)

I was sure someone would create such a thread, sooner or later :)
I've started drawing a map yesterday but would probably not be finished till friday (stupid school takes all time from me).

I can design maps myself but I don't have any good ideas...

If anyone does feel free to make a request of some sort.

in fact, the point is to get other one maps because we have to put them into our own userlandscape folder to be able to play with it textured

Having an idea is the first step of designing maps

Anyway, if you want to take a look, I got the first (http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/tt52/Thurbo1/Bild-01.jpg?t=1282766981) (and second (http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/tt52/Thurbo1/Bild-02.jpg?t=1282766984)) sketch uploaded so if you want to see how it will (possibly) look like, click the links.

Actually, you don't need an alpha channel. I just imported one of my old W:A maps by just adjusting the size and changing it from an Index Color PNG to a RGB TGA.

fine, i've not tested that way ;)

@thurbo : there's something to do with that !

The alpha channel lets you adjust what parts of the terrain get soil behind it though.

Oh, is that right? Damn. I was hoping to avoid tedious conversions.
