Please give some information it seems happend to a lot of other players too.

sound card
chipset
etc ...

Also try to check your steam sound config and your OS sound.

I'm not getting any sound either.

OS: Win7 64-bit

How do I check chipset?

All settings are okay in steam and OS, but not sound in Worms Reloaded.

This is important! To everybody having sound problems: All you've got to do is installing the newest DirectX update! Seriously :p

This should probably be stickied, it's a common issue.

And yeah Worms Reloaded should automatically try and update DirectX like other Steam games when they're first installed.

I was just about to post about this issue when I saw this discussion! I hope the update will do the trick. Is anyone else having issues with freezing? The game locks up for about five seconds from time to time, and then resumes.

I had to install the latest DirectX, and was happy to have sound.
Then, I play for a min or so and when the first shot hits an enemy worm, The game locks up and after a min or so I get the win7 error that the exe has stopped responding.. It never resumes for me.

I'll do more testing later, but so far it's 100% unplayable for me :mad:
